Heat and humidity return for the mid-week period, with the hottest and most humid day occurring on Wednesday. Temperatures will decrease slightly for Thursday and Friday, but conditions will remain hot with highs in the upper 80s and 90s.

Hazardous Weather: Dangerously hot and humid conditions. Maximum heat indices ranging from 100-109° area wide. High temperatures in the upper 90s to near 100°.

 

Timing: The hottest conditions will occur Wednesday, but conditions will remain hot through Friday.

 

Locations Affected: New Jersey, eastern Pennsylvania, Delaware, and the Eastern Shore of Maryland. This includes the NJ Shore and DE Beaches.

 

Impacts: Prolonged periods outside without frequent breaks and hydration could result in heat related illnesses.
