APPLE SCRAPPLE IS THIS WEEKEND 10/10-10/11. HOURS ON 10/10 FROM 4 PM TO 10 PM AND 10/11 FROM 9 AM TO 10 PM/
The 33rd Annual Apple Scrapple Festival in Bridgeville will be held on Friday, October 10th and Saturday, October 11th.
Please review the following updates from festival organizers as they relate to parking and other info:
Parking for this year’s festival will be at the PictSweet Lot at 7350 Federalsburg Highway. The lot will only be accessible via Federalsburg Road (coming east) or Wesley Church Road. There will be NO ENTRY into Town without a resident or vendor pass. Town Streets, including Market and Main Streets, will not be accessible to the public at any time during the festival. There will be continuous shuttles from the parking lots to the festival area throughout the day with stops at Layton’s Hardware (Food Court), Edgewood Street (Schoolhouse Craft Show), and Sussex Ave Ext (Car Show).
Handicapped parking lots can be found at Lifeway Church of God, 7046 Seashore Highway, and Phillis Wheatley Elementary School, 48 Church Street. Please have your handicap placard on display when entering the area. There will be continuous handicap accessible shuttles from the parking lots to the festival area, stopping at Pyramid Transport throughout the day.
PLEASE FOLLOW TRAFFIC PATTERNS AND TRAFFIC CONTROL PERSONNEL’S INSTRUCTIONS TO GET TO THE CORRECT LOT.
Residents and Business Owners need to retrieve their passes following the instructions here. A map of street closures can be found here.
For everyone’s safety, we kindly request that patrons do not walk from either lot and only park in designated parking areas. We are not responsible for towed vehicles in closed/no parking areas.
